I’m Dr. Diana Liu.

I’m a dentist focused in Dental Sleep Medicine (offering a oral appliance alternative for the treatment of Sleep Apnea, Certified Sleep Coach trained in CBT-insomnia, and Founder of Rest to Thrive.

As someone who formally suffered from insomnia, anxiety, panic attacks, and burnout, I understand first hand the life changing power of sleep, rest, and nervous system health.

I went from feeling like I was in survival mode on a regular basis, trying to get by, completely dissatisfied with my life and contemplating if I should quit dentistry…..

To feeling a foundation of peace, joy, and aliveness because I learned how to regulate and rewire my nervous system and discovered modalities that took me into states of deep rest.

Our body already knows how to heal when we give it the proper nurturing environment - a deep rest parasympathetic state.

I re-ignited my love for dentistry discovering dental sleep medicine, became a yoga / meditation / sound healing teacher, healed and re-wired my nervous system, and met the love of my life and became a mother to a beautiful baby boy.

I’m grateful anxiety is no longer my baseline state.

When we remove the layer of exhaustion and care for our nervous system, we heal and get clear on what we truly desire in life - rather than living for other people’s approval and external validation.

Our intuitive voice or intuition is one of the most powerful internal guidance systems because when we make decisions from that place, it reflects our authentic truths and deepest desires. 

It is present within everyone and we develop it in various ways that are personal and unique to us. 

In a world where there is so much noise, rush, and stimulation, it may be difficult to hear, identify, and trust our intuitive voice.

When we are bombarded with so many thoughts, it can be confused for the many other voices (e.g. egoic voices, other people’s projections, parental or societal influences…etc).

Like a muscle, we must train ourselves to get quiet, filter out the noise, and practice connecting to our intuitive voice and welcome all the ways it can be expressed for us.

We invite you to spend the day with us to hone your ability to listen and connect deeper so you can access your intuition more easily.
