Dr. Diana Liu is a multi-passionate visionary — a holistic airway dentist, rest coach, yoga and meditation teacher, and sound healer — with over a decade of experience bridging science, ancient wisdom, and mind-body practices.

Based on the Sunshine Coast in Gibsons, BC, she’s also a devoted mother to a two-year-old son and the founder of Rest to Thrive — a body of work dedicated to supporting women, especially mothers, to reclaim rest as a core pillar of health, vitality, and aligned living.

After years of striving, high performance, and burnout —which led to insomnia, autoimmune flareups, and chronic stress and anxiety — she reached a breaking point, almost walking entirely away from dentistry.

Through the study of nervous system healing and integrative approaches to rest
, she discovered a path not just back to sleep - better mood and energy - but back to her true Self.

Motherhood took that journey even deeper. After a physically and emotionally demanding pregnancy and postpartum —43 weeks pregnant, breastfeeding challenges, and over a year of disrupted sleep —She came to discover tools that helped her build nervous system resilience, grounding, and capacity; the very tools she teaches other women who are in the thick of it - juggling career, motherhood, relationships, and the ups and downs of life.

She understands firsthand how dysregulation and exhaustion impacts the body and hormones, and how rest is essential not only for recovery, but for transformation.

Her work is grounded in evidence-based science, practical integration, and ancient wisdom. She is dedicated to supporting women who want to feel rooted and rested in her body & aligned with her purposenot by pushing harder or doing more, but by slowing down, learning how to be, and syncing with her internal rhythms and intuition.

Her mission is to normalize rest as a fundamental neednot something women and mothers must earn, but something they are inherently worthy of.

So that rest becomes the foundation for personal healing, empowerment, and true liberation.
