Cognitive behavior therapy for insomnia (CBT-i) is a structured and evidence-based approach to healing insomnia. Non-Sleep Deep Rest, also known as yoga nidra, is a form of guided meditation that takes you to a hypnagogic state towards profound states of relaxation and consciousness.
It is composed of a series of breath, body, and awareness techniques designed to help you move into delta and theta states of relaxation, where the mind quiets and the body enters into a deep restorative parasympathetic state.
This is the opportunity for the body to rest, recharge, transform, and heal.
This style of meditation is highly accessible as you don’t have to have any meditation experience to feel its effects.
